From a Mississippi porch to the beauty chair. Long before LUSTRÈ had a name, there was a little girl in Mississippi watching her cousins braid hair on the porch.
I grew up watching beauty happen in the most familiar places on front porches, in living rooms, and around the people I loved. I watched hands create styles, confidence, and connection, and somewhere along the way, I realized hair was more than something we did. Hair was a way we cared for one another.
When I moved to Texas, I had the opportunity to work under an apprenticeship. I learned that becoming a great stylist isn't just about knowing how to create a beautiful style. It's about understanding hair, paying attention to the details, and listening to the person sitting in your chair.
Now, that same passion has brought me to South Carolina, where I'm turning years of passion and experience into the career I've always envisioned. Today, I create styles that allow my clients to see themselves differently — more confident and more like the woman they already knew they could be.
